Frequently Asked Questions

Practical Information & Doubts

  • Q: Who is your therapy particularly suitable for? A: Our method is particularly effective for those who feel stuck in old patterns, suffer from emotional hunger/emptiness, or struggle with the aftermath of a narcissistic relationship or psychological abuse. It is also for those seeking deeper meaning or wanting to stand stronger in their parenting.

Q: I am skeptical about "energy work". Is it just hocus pocus? A: It is completely normal to be skeptical. Many of our clients come with an academic or rational background and have had the same doubts. We work in a grounded and concrete way, and our results are documented in a qualitative research report based on 46 client interviews. We see energy work as an extension of the therapeutic space where we can reach layers that words alone cannot.

Q: Does it work if I am not “spiritual”? A: Yes. You don't need to "believe in anything" to benefit from the treatment. It's about regulating your nervous system and releasing tension/trauma in the body. It is a physical and emotional process, not a religious one.

  • Q: How quickly can I expect to see results? A: It varies greatly. some feel a marked relief already after the first session, while others need a longer course to change deep patterns. We don't work with quick fixes, but with lasting change. However, many experience greater calm and clarity quickly.

Q: How will I feel after a session? A: It varies a lot. Some feel light and uplifted, while others may feel tired or experience a "cleansing" in the days following. This is completely natural as the nervous system continues to work. We recommend taking it easy afterwards.

Q: Do I need to do anything between sessions? A: Yes. Energy work opens the door, but you have to walk through it yourself. We often give you concrete exercises or focus areas (e.g., "pulling your field home") to practice in daily life to anchor the change.

Q: Can you guarantee that I will get better? A: We cannot issue guarantees, as healing is a collaboration. However, our experience and research show that the method creates deep changes for the vast majority, especially those who have "tried everything" within traditional therapy without fully reaching their goal.

  • Q: What is the difference between your method and regular psychological help? A: Regular therapy often works "Top-Down" (from the head down). We also work "Bottom-Up" (from the body/energy up). This means we can access the trauma and patterns that sit in the nervous system, which you cannot think your way out of. We combine conversation with energetic work to create a holistic release.

Q: Should I choose Mette or Sune? A: Mette specializes in trauma healing, attachment, and deep somatic work ("Bottom-Up"). Choose her if you need to release old wounds or work with your childhood. Sune specializes in energetic mastery, overview, and relational dynamics ("Top-Down"). Choose him if you lack direction, boundaries, or understanding of your patterns. Many clients alternate between us to get the full benefit.

Q: How does your couples therapy work? A: We believe that two half people cannot create a whole relationship. Therefore, we combine joint sessions (where we look at the dynamic) with individual sessions (where you each clear up your own baggage). This creates faster and more lasting results than just sitting together.

Q: What characterizes Mette's approach? A: Mette works in depth with the nervous system and the body's memory. Her focus is on creating safety and releasing trauma stuck in the body, often from childhood or past relationships.

Q: What characterizes Sune's approach? A: Sune works analytically and strategically with a focus on creating clarity and agency. He helps you understand complex dynamics in your relationships and gives you tools to master your own energy field.

Q: How many sessions do I need? A: It depends on your issue. We often recommend a course of 5-10 sessions to go deep, but you can easily start with a single session to see if it's for you.

  • Q: How do I book a time? A: You can book your session directly via our online booking. Here you can see available times with both Mette and Sune as well as book couples therapy.

Q: Where is the clinic located, and is there parking? A: We are located at Smedegården 19, 4320 Lejre. The clinic is situated in beautiful, quiet surroundings, and there is free parking right at the door. See map under Find Your Way.

Q: Do online sessions work as well as physical ones? A: Yes, they actually do. Many are skeptical at first but are surprised by the effect. Energy and consciousness are not limited by physical distance. Online sessions also give you the opportunity to be in your own safe surroundings.

Q: Can I go into therapy if I take medication or have a diagnosis? A: Yes, in most cases. We work complementarily to the established system. If you have a heavy psychiatric diagnosis, however, we ask you to inform us when booking so we can assess if we are the right match. We do not replace medical treatment.

Q: What is your cancellation policy? A: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled time. For later cancellations or no-shows, the full amount is charged as the time is reserved for you. Cancellations can be made by clicking cancel in the booking confirmation or by sending us an email.

Q: Can I pay with MobilePay? A: Yes, we accept both MobilePay and most payment cards. Payment takes place before the session when the session is booked. In case of cancellation 24 hours before, the money is refunded to your account.
