The Gradual Process of Soul Descension

Soul descension is a gradual process that unfolds over time, rather than a sudden transformation. It happens in limited "doses," whereby higher consciousness is integrated into the physical body and thus emerges in everyday awareness. The process can be intense and requires patience and persistence.

Just as a high-voltage power line cannot be connected to a thin copper wire without overloading the system, the soul's high-frequency energy cannot be integrated into the body all at once without preparation. When it happens and the body is not prepared, the process can sometimes stall, and you can get "stuck" in difficult states.

Cleansing and Transformation

Cleansing and transformation are central elements in the gradual process. Old blockages, traumas, and fixed thought patterns must be processed and released to make way for the soul's energy and changed perspective. This may involve confronting or managing difficult relationships, changing lifestyles, and/or letting go of old beliefs.

This cleansing process can trigger several uncomfortable physical and psychological symptoms, including:

  • Indigestion (diarrhea, vomiting, belching, constipation)

  • Palpitations and fear of cardiac arrest, "low blood sugar"-like sensations

  • Pain in the body (e.g. in the lower back or legs)

  • Mental confusion and racing thoughts

  • A feeling of losing parts of yourself

  • The feeling that something in you is dying

  • Undefined painful emotions that move around the body

Soul Descension and Meaning

As the soul integrates, you will experience a changed perception of yourself and others. You may lose interest in superficial relationships and conversations may feel meaningless, and feel called to live a more meaningful life. Interests and priorities may change, and you may feel driven by an inner force to pursue your soul's purpose without quite knowing what it is.

However, the personality can feel threatened by the soul's influence and resist the process. This can lead to inner conflicts and periods of frustration and despair. You may experience a feeling of being "forced" to change, and something "pushes in" as if you have not consciously chosen it.

Soul descension is an individual journey, and there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach. What works for one person may not work for another. It is therefore important to be aware of your own process and listen to your intuition and remember that your soul frequency and your mission in life is unique. You can search far and wide among alternative practitioners to find something "that works", but without success because they do not understand the process.

Finding Support and Guidance

Finding the right guides can be crucial in the gradual process of soul descension, especially if it stalls and "sits across." We warn against alternative therapists and spiritual teachers who offer quick fixes and ready-made systems that can handle everything at once and operate according to a rigid system where everything is systematized. We encourage you to be critical and choose supervisors with integrity and respect for the individual's journey, and go for what works.

Instead of looking for a counselor who has all the answers, it is more rewarding to work with a counselor who supports your own inner wisdom and your own unique process. It's about finding a balance between receiving guidance from the outside and getting better at trusting what you yourself "get in," since no process of soul descension is the same and your soul's frequency and purpose is your own.

Seek Medical Attention

It is important to always seek proper medical attention if you experience serious symptoms! This text is not intended as a substitute for medical assessment. Serious physical and mental symptoms should always be evaluated by a healthcare professional to ensure proper treatment and rule out other causes. In this context, we only describe a process that goes beyond, where certain symptoms may be temporary and related to the soul descension process itself. This is not medical advice.
